I’m piling on the miles as fast as I can. But have a very long way to go before I can catch up with the big boys and gals on this forum.
Am at 171,720 miles (so far) on my ‘02 XKR
55,720 miles since ownership began 3 1/2 years ago.

PS with regular oil changes these engines should be good for 500,000 miles before wearing out. Most of the junked XK’s didn’t wear out. They were wrecked or had repairs needed that were too expensive .
The engine, especially on the 4.2, is not what would worry me about killing these cars. I would be more worried about transmission failures, accident damage, or rust.

As the owner of a 4.0 that's been nothing but problems, am really impressed with the high mileage cars. It's great to know they do last if well maintained. As we all know, owning an XK isn't a Lexus experience but it's a lot more fun!
I'm right around 187000 and was hoping to be breaking 200K this year but work from home has slowed the miles driven. (96K are from me) There are a few on here well over 200K
Currently at 122,600 miles. The car was my wife's daily driver from early February 2012 until late October 2018, but is now just a toy doing approximately 1,500 miles per year....
I have passed 175,000 miles on my 2002 XKR, but I rarely drive it any longer preferring to drive my X150 5,0L coupe as my daily driver. I still love my 2002 'vert dearly and have never had a car that receives so many compliments, however, the superior driving characteristics of the X150 are just too good in comparison for me. My 2010 XKR will pass 190,000 miles this week, runs as strong and smooth as ever, and still looks nearly new. Love both.
Only just sold my 2006 Jaguar XJR with 215k miles on the clock. Engine, drivetrain & suspension were fine, still pulling like a train and didn't use any oil. Electrics - a bit like a disco show with red & yellow lights showing every now and again (the main reason for selling). Bodywork - poor with corrosion at bottom of the the doors plus numerous other places. It was serviced every year and never gave any major problems during the 15 years I owned it.
Not all bad as I still have my 2010 XKR with 65k on the clock.
My 2003 XK8 now has 137,500 miles clocked... I bought it ten years ago with 88,000. Have no intention on letting her go anytime soon - as long as I can get in and out of it (I'm a young 68) ! As long as you listen to the car and treat it with respect, it will likely take good care of you. My wife and I just drove it from Cincinnati area to Raleigh, NC with a stop at the Carolina Jaguar Club's Concours d'Elegance in Little Switzerland, NC. Great trip, 50% 2-lane and no hickups.
I changed the engine and trans at 217k to a 36k engine... noticable difference in many things to do with the way the new engine runs... smoother, quieter, more power
The real problem with the 217k engine and trans was the trans. Engine for all intent and purpose felt good. I did have to change the LH cylinder head when I got her at 199k... Dropped valve.
Engine is pretty out of the car, cosmetically and from a shape and design standpoint. Jus say'n...
