How can you tell if S514 recall has been done?
How can you tell if the trottle body recall has ben done on a car?
My understanding is this is a reflash for some cars and a new throttle body for others.
If it hasn't been done how much will it cost to have it reflashed?

If it's been replaced under recall, it will be recorded in the vehicle history in the Jaguar Direct Dealer Warranty System, available online to all Jaguar Dealers Worldwide.
The question suggests you are having TB issues? If so, some more details will get you more help.

S514 in the US was not a recall but instead a service action. Yes there is a difference. If you post the vin I can tell you if it as done. The cars that had the throttle body replaced were the later cars that the cars that the ECU could not be reflashed.

Jaguar should be in position to provide you information on service action 514s regardless of it being done you can get your throttle body rebuilt at a fraction of the cost of a new one if it becomes an issue

Here are the VINs on the two am thinking of:
SAJGX2744VC007586
SAJGX2046XC032986
032986 looks like it is not in vin range as it is not listed in DDW
