Question How to clean the Headliner from a convertible?

Hello,

My headliner is very dirty, instead of buying a new one is it possible to take it off and clean it some how?

Might sound dumb but would taking it to the dry cleaners or washing it work?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Your owners manual specifies the English version of rubbing alcohol but spray brake cleaner will do a great job on cleaning the interior top fabric. Others have used various fabric cleaner and been satisfied with that but I would be concerned with raising the nape on the lining fabric.

The 'yellow' stain on the liner is the foam lining deteriorating. Alcohol or brake clearer will remove it but it may return.
