Thanks Billy, I am unable compare tail lights but the door sill trim plats don't have the checker flags so I don't think it's a VE. The badge is probably a replacement from the accident that destroyed the bumper cover.
RJ237,
Jaguar, it seems, is not to proud of their "One-offs"....They don't seem to know the VIN of most of them and just sorta pulled one out of the line and made it a "V-E" or an XKR-100 or whatever....and because of that, I've decided to take the best parts of each version and put them on my 2005 XKR Coupe! What the Heck! If they had set aside a block of "VIN's" and kept track of them, that would be a different thing but they can't even tell you if your "VIN" is one of the special "Editions" or not.....see what I mean.....
I had to search around for it but I finally found the Front nose piece emblem for the XKR-100, which I really like a lot, along with the Tread Plates (XKR with Checkered Flags on each side) about 2 months ago......Last Summer, I found Tail lights for a "Victory-Edition" and about a year ago, I found the little 4.2-S Tag that goes under the left Tail Light! It already had the "R" Performance Package...so that gave me the "R" on the Gear Shift Knob....Now that I have installed each of these items, I think the XKR looks pretty darn good. I especially like the "Victory-Edition" tail lights....They are really cool looking with the Ebony color and all!
Have fun with your 2006 XKR....."V-E", "CF" or whatever you want to call it! It's still the best looking Car around and it is a Classic!
I agree with you there. The chrome cross piece and bumperettes were missing, and rather than replacing them I ordered a Mina mesh grill set. I don't like the fact that there is no protection from stones on the XK8 bumper and that problem will now be solved. But I do miss the walnut veneer interior.
I live in British Columbia Canada, close to the USA border and purchased a 2006 convertible XK8 Carbon Fiber edition about a year ago. It was owned by a Jaguar collector who has a number of rare jaguars. My XK8 is a platinum metalic with ivory two tone leather interior. I believe it was originally ordered by a woman from Los Angeles who brought it to Vancouver, Canada
The car is in mint condition and has extremely low milage - less than 30k. I only drive it in the summer!
it also has a second ivory tonneau cover and a custom fiber platinum two piece tonneau that I believe was custom ordered from the UK. it has a custom wind deflector that seems to keep the wind from blowing my hair around!!
I store the vehicle all winter and have just brought it out for the summer. It is an incredable treat to drive it here in the spring. I am planning on showing it in the Victoria, British Columbia Jaguar Car gathering in July 2016 - see http://www.jaguarcarclubofvictoria.w...g/page-1855640
The Jaguar Car Club of Victoria, celebrating its 13th anniversary, is hosting Jaguars On The Island 2016. This is the largest JCNA sanctioned gathering of the famous Jaguar marque in North America.
BTW, I have added a K&M air filter which seems to increase the HP and fuel economy.
Hey
I am pretty sure I own that car now or one darn near identical
It is now located in Langley BC has 41287 miles on her

An '06 CF edition just sold for a respectable $22,800 on eBay. 23,000 miles.
It's not so rare. Summer of 2019 there are several for sale. I owned 2006 Victory Edition in Quartz, totaled it with 54,000 miles in June 2019. I just bought replacement with 26,000 miles in silver.
Bought mine last year 2018, in Texas. Didn't really pay attention to the particulars like the colors and interior because all of the cars I have ever owned were pieces of CRA*! This is the first car I have owned that IS SO COOL! Well it's killing my wallet in the repair department but I don't care I love it! Navy Blue? Charcol Blue? exterior? I don't know how the Jag colors are defined. It has the two tone leather suede interior.
Hello forum friends. I have owned the vehicle above since 2008 and I believe there was only one owner before me. I don't know who the original Jag dealer was but I believe it was in California somewhere. The car was put on the road for the first time in November of 2005. My question is do any of you know if there is any way to search to see how many identical vehicles were made to mine for the US market? Mine is PEC paint and LEG trim and is as described in the 2006 XKR brochure. I have the 20" Persus wheels and red calipers plus carbon fibre etc. I'd appreciate any help trying to figure this out. By the sounds of it there were 200 of the Victory Limited Editions made for the US market but no idea how many were with the exact same PEC paint and LEG trim.Is there a way to find the dealer with the VIN somehow? I've been told the original dealer should have all the info I am asking for. Cheers.
Hello Chuck - not sure if you are still on the Forum, but I have one of the CF editions from 2005. It is black with black convertible top and interior. I love it!

Hi Chuck: I use mine mainly on weekends and on a few trips - I had a std. XK8 base before in the same color and bought this one recently. It has 42000 miles on it - I am planning a trip in late July to the GA Mtns. and perhaps on into TN and KY to do the bourbon trail tour. There is a pretty large Jaguar event in late July in NC in the Mtns. also - will be heading there... love driving these cars... RM
Yes I'm still hanging around and still have the CF 05 although a little worse for wear due to an attempt at stealing it. It isn't really that bad, but not pristine as before. Have done a lot of work on it since---rear shock upper bushings and new shock mounts up front. A number of cosmetic corrections do to the attempt. However, she's still beautiful and a pleasure to drive.
Hang it there guys and hang onto those beautiful CF Jags.

I recently sold my CF Jaguar. I had a couple of expensive repairs and the icing on the cake was when I woke up when morning and found coolant all over my garage floor. One of the houses had blown and Jaguar couldn't fit me in for a repair for a month. I found an import specialist who had a good reputation, but he had to order the part from back east, which took almost two weeks. He took a couple of days to replace the part and charged me over $1000.00. Ouch!
I asked the mechanic what the rest of the cooling system looked like and he said it was pretty shot, Considering the car had around 35,000 on the clock, I figured the future would be a money pit and traded it in for a another vehicle. I decide to buy a Hyundai. Yes, that's right! Its not a Jaguar (and I have had a few), but I'm pretty sure its going to cost me a lot less to run.
I hope everyone with the CF edition continues to enjoy their vehicles and they have a year with no surprises. I definitely will miss driving mine with the top down in the summer.
May not be rare, but in is something special........
You have one and I have one. Wonder where the other 198 cars are?
If you have one of the 05/ 1 in 200 Carbon Fiber models, let us know. Let's see if we can find all of them.

Hey Chuck... Guess I'm number 3 ?? Mine is exactly like yours. I only got rid of the 19" rims as they were constantly getting bent on Calif roads. Swapped a guy for his 18's and they are perfect.
