Default How to re-attach?

Not even sure I know what to call this - it just dropped down and there are no clips. Looks like an adhesive was used - but not sure - anyone know how to re-attach?

I would buy a small Velcro kit and custom-cut and glue on the necessary pieces for the re-attachment process....

You have a broken plastic overhead console retainer.(front retainer mounting bracket HJA2057AB) The spring steel clips are in place at the front but the rear one looks to be missing.
It might be in the rectangular hole and became detached from the vertical rib on the console?

That tab at the back seems to break a lot. My whole console was in really crappy shape. I got one off of eBay, but several on there had missing back tabs, too.

Looks like the clips are right there in the photo

When I removed mine I couldn't clearly see where it attached either, but I just shoved it back up there and it clipped right in place.

Be very careful with those spring clips. The teeth on them (arrowed in RED) bite like a rabid dog.

Broken tabs on the roof console are common.

Found where the clips broke - any idea how to replace these?

I think that's the bracket itself which broke. If your car is a convertible, you're in luck, the part is: HJA2057AB and is available. If you have a coupe, I have bad news. That bracket is NLA.
