Default How to test the hydraulic pump?

Anyone know of a direct way to test the pump. I cannot raise the top and would like to test the pump. I have already run some tests on the micro switches by the latch and they seem okay.

Scott,

1) test for 12volts at the connector.
A) ignition on. Have someone press roof down button. Do you get 12volts? Yes goto 2.
B) No: use key in door to try to open.
12volts? No - Check fuse in trunk

2) yes 12volt reading. Does motor make noise?

Gotta run mate let's start here. Tell us results.

John
