hey forum, received the parts to cap the lines on the pump for the convertible top... installed and everything went well... thanks to all of you for you help...... just one thing for now, is this only a temp. fix or can I leave it for awhile with no problems till I fix it the right way.... I got a guy for about a grand to do it... thanks again tony

 

You can run indefinitely with the ports capped. Some guys have opted to leave things this way permanently, rather than to replace the latch hoses.
