Yes very interesting, I have seen that episode several times. Funny thing he doesnt mention a darn thing about the upper tensioners not even to check.

Awesome! I love this show, and these cars. I can't wait to get mine on the road.

This was the episode that got me thinking about buying another KX8 (I had a sedan in 97) only this time a used convertible. I was lucky, because unlike these guys I don't have a complete shop with built-in mechanic, I found a local (San Francisco) 99 convertible with 32K original miles. The owner passed away and his son didn't want to keep it. It's had all service done (including the tensioners) even in years he only drove a couple of times he changed the oil twice a year. It was always garaged and would pass for a new car. My question is has anyone changed the exhaust similar to what they did on the Wheeler Dealer show? I would love a little throaty sound.
Thanks Bill

Isn't this the one where the camera never shows the drivers seat? And like someone else said, not even a mention of the tensioners. I like this show, but if they ever added in Edd's labor, they would lose money on every car!

it's true - i think the point of the show really is to save a nice classic and not make a big profit - i always laugh when Mike says - we made a nice profit of a grand or something and Ed's put in a good week of skilled work into it. I too would love to release that V8 Burble - one of the best motor based sounds u can have imo.

Yes quite an easy modification too. Just dont know if its going to make much of a difference without changing the complete exhaust

i'd be quite happy with quite a noticeable increase in volume - i love that V8 Burble - i had a Camaro years ago with Cherry Bomb exhausts - what a great sound!

No one knows much about Jaguars, not even the guys on that show.

Our cars are extremely expensive, and a step above all luxury vehicles.

I watched that show on tv, I wish I could of called mike and ed and told them to change the tensioners before racing it at the track.,but hey, its just a tv show.
