I have a stupid question

Plenty of discussion about Recaro's in the past so this can't be too difficult a question.
Recaro was an option on the 2004/05 but mine is fitted with the standard soft leather. The headrests are motorised up and down. They automatically retract when the seat is tilted and return to the preset position when the seat is put back upright.
No reason to think the Recaro adjustment mechanism would be any different...........?

My 04 XKR has the factory Recaro options (seats and steering wheel). They do not have adjustable headrests at all ie they have a one piece back the headrest is not separate. The recaro seats are the most comfortable I have sat in for any lengthy period (longest drive 7.5 hours) and give me a very good "seat of the pants" connection with the car and the road.
I am a bit on the larger side (width not height) but absolutely love them.
Caveat - haven't driven an XKR with the standard seats so this is a highly prejudiced post!

Hey guys, thanks for the input. I didn't think the recaro's were adjustable, but, I didn't know for sure. I once had a '94 Honda Prelude with recaro seats and they were the most comfortable non electric seats I had ever tried. That being said, I liked the standard seat in my '03 XKR probably even better. I have been eyeing an '04 XKR Portfolio, but just can't seem to pull the trigger. Think I will keep looking and see if I can find an '07 XK in my price range.
Thanks again guys, I appreciate it.
