Default I think its nailed down!

I drove the car about 35-40 miles this morning. The Stability control fail
and ABS light where out. (great) after the drive as I was pulling thru the
mobil home park that I live it, I stopped to talk to a friend as he admired
the new car (to Me its new!). That when the light and msg came on, so
I think its a heat expansion problem with the ABS ECU solder joints
that I have been reading about. I hope thats its. I hate that damn
message!!!!LOL I'll wait till Nov when I come back from vacation to
tackle the repair of it myself!

When you do this repair in order to get the ABS module out you need to loosen the lines going into the top of the pump motor. do you know if fluid will come of of these lines? Or will they be dry since the pump is not on. Also do you know if you will have to bleed the system if fluid does come out upon removal of the ABS unit?

The only reason I ask is I might be in the same boat, but will know on Monday after I get the codes read.

I was told the brakes will have to be bleed due to a little air getting in
when the lines are disconnected. I am gonna wait till it gets a little
cooler here in Florida before I do this. The humidity is brutal here. LOL
