Default boy would love to do this

Actually I'd just be happy if I could get the kit that allows you to paddle shift. But wonder how hard it is to swap in the automatic like they did. Thanks for posting!

I have as good a manual transmission as I need!
Its the left hand side of the J gate!

Here in the UK, long time XKEC club member Norman Durban is sorting the final teething problems, to offer a manual gearbox conversion kit.

Very nice - hadn't thought of the Aston Martin variation - would love to see a write up/pics.

I love the wheels... those look amazing.

And I can't fathom how much an Aston transmission would cost... too much for my interest in conversion...

It's only a T56 that you find in any viper, GTO or a whole load of other cars, the Aston AMV8 used the Jaguar block as is in a 4.2 just with a flat plane crank to take it out to 4.7

Does mean you can use the flywheel and clutch but they are not cheap

The wheels are from Image, a 3 piece billet

Of course if you are really keen you can use a manual box from a S type V6 diesel, it bolts straight on, just a shame you guys in the US never got that variation
