My car wont start and today charging battery......
A forum member mentioned immobilizer......and I dont know what that is or how to check for that.
Have the battery out charging, no power to car until tonight.
I scanned the forums for immobilizer and no threads came up.
Any help?

It's part of the car's security system designed to immobilize it in the event someone tries to steal it. Your attempt to get it started may have triggered this feature, which is why it won't start now. You might want to try searching for a thread dealing with the security system. I'm sure you'll probably be getting more focused responses from others on the forum.

It looks like only a dealer or equiv can reset it.
Going to check with my independent guy and see if he can do it......might as well have him check cam chain the tensoners at the same time!
