Happy New Year! After botching a repair attempt on my 2000 XK8 Instrument Cluster (LJD4300HC), I need to replace it.
I found a cluster from a 2000 Vaden Plas with a part # LJD4300GC. Should this work?

I have never tried to swap in a sedan INSTPK to an X100 but the VCATS will be important.

If you have a convertible, it may not be configured to display things like TOP NOT LATCHED or other messages?

You should try it. I know SUPERCHARGED and NATURALLY ASPIRATED are incompatible but as long as it is not a VID block car, (4.2 liter) it won't cause permanent damage if it is not correct.

 

I can't find LJD4300HC in JEPC, but it is listed on the Heritage site, although without the VIN breaks shown in the catalogue:

However, LJD4300GC is valid for MY2000 - depending on VIN:



...so could be worth a punt as motorcarman states. You can always resell it if not.
