anyone know what colors RAL (or any other color chart) interior trim is for antelope and oatmeal? are gonna try and 3d print some broken interior plastic parts. Had a look at thingiverse, only Jag part on there was wheel cap replacement, so if anyone has models for the things that breaks, (seat belt retainer, seat lower side bracket), please post a link to where to find it,
Cheers!
k.
Ok, so I have investigated in RAL colours vs Jag plastic colors, no perfect match on the "classic" RAL chart(NCS chart would have a match) for the oatmeal color plastics, nearest was Pearlwhite RAL 1013, looking for a PLA print material there is some that does have the RAL code, but since it's no perfect match, might just aswell paint it, acrylic and mix perhaps,
right, so did the seat belt retainer GJA2447AA in FreeCAD, model is not a exact copy of original, this one is slightly lower, 7mm vs 10mm in height which imo is better, "footprint is the same though, will work for either left or right side(picture is for the right A-pillar), just mirror it in your slicer software, Cura reported that model was not watertight for some reason, but it prints alright, use at your own risk...
are now trying to do the "big" outer seat hinge covers, very difficult surface modeling(for me at least learning Freecad),
since I have to fix a slightly rattle in the R/H side door, downloaded & printed the doorcard plastic clips model, cant find the thread (thanks to whoever did that model), perhaps a moderator could do a subfolder for printable models?
did start to model it in Freecad, got into lot's of trouble, could not get it to work properly for this outer hinge part, it looks simple but is no easy model to duplicate irl especially with Freecad. there are fusion 360 & solid edge free for hobbyists, perhaps I give those a go when time
permits
as for the colour, esun bonewhite PLA+ is a close match to the cars original plastic colour.

As a follow-up I used the online 3D printing site for the Seat Belt Webbing Retainer and am very happy with the results. Inexpensive ($12 w/shipping for the pair) and a perfect fit. I used the other suggestion of going to Home Depot to match the color using a spare trim piece. Pro tip: thoroughly clean the sample piece. Residual oils can throw off the color match. Luckily the guy at the counter knew this and cleaned it before scanning. Perfect match when installed.
Last note, I made the mistake of mirroring the pieces despite the comment that they do not need to be. Trimming off the center stub solved my mistake and made it fit. It was tight enough to not really need it. I doubt I will use them as intended anyway. I made them primarily for cosmetic reasons.
Thanks for the tip and for the drawing files slugger.

No problems Jag#4, you're welcome, great it worked out with the print service. Sort of my bad there with the center pin, but it's not really needed, I'd already printed a mirrored copy, instead of print new one, just broke off center pin and works fine all the same,
Cheers!
