I haven't been keeping up with the referrals to members who have cars they are parting out - I never thought I'd need one, but:

On Christmas Day someone got into my 2002 XKR and did some childish vandalism. I lost an umbrella, a tire gauge, my Jaguar cap, a small amount of meter change, but most noticeable, the rubber liner for the handhold slot on the inside of the driver's door. (They removed it while taking a bar towel from my favorite pub - used to wipe up the water that falls on the seat in the rain when the door is opened - more info than anyone wanted to know!)

Anyway, I need one - whatever it may be called. Here is a pic of the one from the passenger's door. There is a part # on this one - GJA 1358AB R.H. - I presume I am looking for the same with a "L.H." suffix. Thanks for any leads anyone can give me. DaleD

 

I found one for my 98 at www.aristocratmotors.com. I called their parts dept. and they ordered one for me. Check the part no....mine was GJA1359AB LH. It's a little over $50. You might find one on Ebay.

That seems a hell of a lot for a silly piece of rubber, I am sure I have one here you can have for less than half of that, not sure what the shipping will cost you though

 

Sorry to rob a thread, but...

XKRacer -- do you happen to have a deep center console that will fit my 2001 XKR Silverstone?? mine has the worthless phone in it and it cuts the depth down to nothing. i'm looking at doing the ipod install and would like a deeper console when i'm finished. it's a pretty light part so shipping shouldn't be too bad!

You all might want to try Coventry West in Conyers, GA. They have a huge breaker yard. I got the rubber liner for my coin tray for nearly nothing! Car washes routinely vacuum these rubber liners up in their powerful vacuums. For part numbers, see the stickeys at the beginning of the XK forums.
