Phil D,

My dashboard lights / exterior lights flickering issue has not returned since I tightened up the various electrical system nuts and bolts back in October. Am I convinced that action permanently did the trick? No, because even the shop that did my alternator refurbishment back in July 2018 said that the new voltage regulator could indeed be the culprit. But this was a very intermittent issue last autumn and unless it comes back and happens much more frequently, I am not going to pull the alternator again for him to install yet another new voltage regulator in it. Good luck with your issue and keep us posted on what you decide to do in an effort to fix it. Intermittent electrical issues are indeed a pain to identify and fix....

And if you have not yet tightened up the nuts and bolts on the power distribution module in the trunk, do so immediately. That may solve your problem....

All that stuff on the mega fuse block appeared clean and tight. I couldn't move any of them, but I will try just undoing the nuts and retightening them.
