Introduction from a guy looking for an XKR
#21
I have a 2004 XKR Portfolio convertible - only 100 were made. I have the Coronado Blue version. Absolutely love the car but after 4 back surgeries, it is too painful for me to get in and out of it. I had planned to put it up for sale this year but then the pandemic hit so I didn't really bother. Anyway, if you are interested, let me know and I'll send pix
you guys offering to help transport it are great! thanks!

I have a 2006 XKR Victory Black on Black with BBS 20" wheels and carbon fiber dash. We hardly drive it any more. It has 80K miles and is pretty nice. I have rebuilt the front end and a bunch of other work. It drives like a dream.
I am in Newnan GA south of Atlanta
If interested let me know I can send photos

You guys with the gorgeous coupes have got to stop offering them to me! Gads, I want them all. Especially Burl's. I need to block him. LOL
Thinking about it more last night, I think the convertible is what I'm going to go for. Yes, I know, I wrote in the first post that I really want a coupe, and I do, they're just gorgeous, but I have two other cars (not counting the wife's two cars) and it's much easier to justify a convertible since we don't actually have one of those. Although you can remove the top off of her Jeep, I can't stand driving that thing.

I see you have changed your mind regarding wanting a coupe. If you also decide that you will consider an XK8 vs. an XKR, I may be able to convince my wife to sell her beloved 2006 XK8 Victory Edition convertible (Onyx White exterior with Cashmere interior). It was her daily driver from February 2012 until November 2018. Now it is a toy. We need to downsize and I may finally be able to win the argument that it is time to let some of our toys go to other loving homes. Plus, I am no more than 30 minutes from you....

Seriously, white with tan, isn't that a chick car? LOL, just kidding ladies.
I'm sticking with the XKR, but thanks for the offer!

PS sell any car that doesn’t get your blood moving faster. Life is way too short to drive boring.

The stupid Jeep is hers. It's not up for debate, or discussion. Kind of like the cats. No, not Jaguar cats. Annoying critters that have taken over my house.

Thanks wj. I don't care for silver. But this is what really did it for me: "picked this car up to send to my Dad in Calif. but cant get a transporter to get it there from corpus ".
that's simply not true. I sold a BMW to a guy in CA, no problem finding a shipper. What else is he lying about?
seems cheap for the miles too. Too cheap.
