Default iridium sparkplugs

hi guys,can enyone confirm that theses plugs will fit the 2001 xk8(ngk iridium ix bkr5eix-11)thanks

by the Advanced Auto Parts web site it will not fit a 2001 xk8 or xkr. Jim

Here's the link to the NGK spark plug website:

NGK Iridium IX® Spark Plugs

Oddly they don't list the XK8/XKR but show BKR6EIX-11 for the S/C 2001 XKR and BKR5EIX-11 for the N/A S-Type 4.0 litre.

BKR5EIX-11 are the correct ones for european cars, specially for short distance drive,
BKR6EIX-11 are only for the first xk8, till 9/97.

In Germany NGK praise them officially as an upgrade.

thanks everyone,i have been in tuch with lots of people in the know today inclueding you guys and it seams that the BKR5EIX-11 are the correct ones.

According to my NGK catalogue they only recommend the platinum for your year PFR5G-11E (NGK stock number 3000)
