I've got to find out how to get one of those test driving jobs....

 

At the beginning of the video it shows that the R8 has 420hp, not 520. I thought those things were supposed to be all "bad-***" and stuff. Hell, that's what Tony Stark drove in Iron Man 2. They don't impress me at all now.

 

Cool video. It looks like they kept it to about 40 or 50mph until they got past the cones, then jumped on it. Take a look at what happens at about 11 seconds in. At first look I thought the Jag damnear does a wheelie, but I think the effect is more from the camera movement. Pretty impressive, anyway.

 

There are actually a lot of different matchups, and the Jag wins most, but, it does get smoked by the 911.

 

According to the comments following that 911 costs $80,000 more.

Hmmm...$80,000 more for less room, less class, worse ride, not as good looking...but will go faster over 100 mph.

Naaaah.

And those Porsche lovers seem like angry little people.

I did not mean to imply that I though that the 911 was better, or that I wanted one. The Bugatti Veyron would smoke the 911. I am not one of the people who bought one of these cars because I wanted to go around street racing people. I like mine just the way it is.

 

They upped the v10 1 litre to make i think a 100 more. And the r8 has awd, and still gets raped by the jag.

Ill support any jag that can keep the germans in rear view mirror.
