Default Jaguar colours, who dares.

Hi all.

Having seen a fighter painted in tiger colours, who has the guts to paint a XK8/R in real jaguar colours using the animal as a model? Maybe somebody could start out doing it in photoshop?

Since my wife's XK8 is white, I've suggested adding tight, random black stripes (made from electrical tape so they are temporary) to emulate a zebra....

She was not amused....

if you can find a pic - there is always Al Parish's 2002 purple XK8 with a leopardskin convertible top - yes indeed - was a strange individual but then again anyone who lives/breathes economics is rather bizarre.

Of course, it's an XKE, but, close enough.
Hideous, eh?

The XKE - I would consider as it is unique and nicely done but the second one - no thanks.

OK, on the serious side.

Either of those cars would be great cars to be "clown cars" to ride in a parade or to go to some other such event, but you would look like a fool driving around in them on a regular basis.

What I/we have not seen is a Jag painted in a more subtle way, so that the spots were more like the actual size of what they are on a real Jaguar, and then the paint job might not overpower the lines and look of the car.

I still don't think that it would be anything that anyone would want for their regular car, but it might not look as outrageous as these two examples.
