Hi, I've had a problem with my XK8 convertible for the last few years.
When I lock my car, the central locking automatically re-opens it within a second of locking it!
Any help will be much appreciated.

Is there a door, boot, or bonnet is open? Your problem might be the central locking switch sticking? or the SLCM.

 

Often a sign of a damaged actuator and if you're lucky you'll be able to guess the right one by watching closely to see which one is a bit wacky (e.g. on an S-Type one of the internal door open levers will fail to move properly).
