Default Jaguar xkr 450 convertible by Paramount

Hi Guys,
Just purchased this beautiful beast 1999 with 53500 miles, Iam experiencing vibration through the steering, it's been tracked and balanced and had the suspension bushes replaced, better but still vibration!! Any suggestions?
Then yesterday got in her and the dashboard looked like a Christmas tree, abs light, stability control and traction control light together with gear box fault light any ideas? Thanx

Welcome to this very friendly forum.

Check the brakes for slightly warped rotors or possible sticking callipers.

With the Christmas tree effect, fully charge the battery first then try again. These cars do not like the slightest of drops in voltage.

Hope this helps,

The front upper shock mounts are a common wear item and can cause vibration. If they are beginning to "flake" around the mount or if the retaining bolt is not centered, you should consider changing them. Mine are going away and I have begun to get a little steering shake over bumps.

Some folks on here have reported problems that were cured by road force balancing the tires. Standard balancing worked for my new set of tires, but others swear that only the road force worked for them.

Check the shock mounts first. No cost and easy to check.
