Hey Racer where did you end up putting the front license plate on the modified XK you did?

Have any photos of that?

I will have to have a dig around for the part no. I will post it up on Monday.

You will need a full mesh grille like what is fitted to the 05 XK, easy to get a hold of, plenty of places selling those me included.

The number plate fits directly on the front, plenty of space!

Once you have removed the overiders plus the parts underneath you will have to make some way to fix the grille, some brackets attached to the bumper beam would work or P clips attached to the grille and then to the bumper, just depends what kind of look you are after?

 

Are you saying that I need a mesh grill from a 2005 XKR or that I can use any mesh grill, such as that from a 2005 XKR? As I said in an earlier post, I have a Mina mesh grill. Will it work or do I need a 2005 XKR mesh grill?
