I am looking for JTIS Manual(s) which cover my 1998 XK8 convertible. I have read my posts on this subject but I do not have the skills to perform the steps in post I have read. I would prefer to purchase a CD(s) which I would use on my Windows 10 computer.

I have a JTIS CD which I purchased on ebay in June 2009. When I upgraded from Windows 7 with new hardware and software a few years ago, it refused to run on my new Windows 10 desktop system. So I purchased an old Dell laptop running Windows 7 on ebay for $35 exclusively to run my JTIS CD. Problem solved....

You won't find a JTIS CD that will run directly on Windows 10 - jumping through some technical hoops in unavoidable. Jon's solution of an old Windows XP or Windows 7 laptop is the easiest answer.

However, you may find the Workshop Manual in PDF format provides the information you want without requiring anything additional installed on your Windows 10 computer. We have three versions available as FREE downloads from the forum MediaFire online file storage:

Any tips as to which version to use? I have a 1997, so I wonder if the earlier manual is more tailored to my car, or if the latest edition would tend to have the most up to date findings even for older cars, if that makes sense.

 

The VIN usually determines the actual MY (model year).

Probably any of the manuals will be good enough.
