key fob i.d.
I know that the key fobs are available on E Bay and that you have to match the the fob I.D. to that of the car. Is there some where on the car that has that I.D. number to match? Like on the case of the security system module? If so , where would it be located ?
No.
For some model years there were at least two fob part numbers. I assume by your question that you do not have a functioning fob to replace or add. Best bet is to ask the nice person at a dealer parts counter to look up your build sheet by using the VIN. That is a great document anyway since it will have serial numbers for the engine and transmission and lots of info on the car as assembled. You may have to provide some verification of ownership such as a title to have access to that information.

If its a US car you need a LJA2610AA with an FCC id K8597T315
type either of those numbers into E-bay to see compatible remotes.
Sadly, the early cars don't do Ford Remotes or Flip Key Remotes.
