Some of the labels in the engine compartment of my 1999 XK8 coupe (78,XXX miles) are peeling up. For example, the label on the cap of the expansion tank is half loose. I suppose this is due to the heat build-up in the engine bay.
Has anyone successfully used a glue to reattach loose labels? Of course, it should be heat resistant and stick to the plastic parts the labels are stuck on.

 

I don't think its just the heat. When I took everything out of my trunk including the spare and tools etc when I was troubleshooting my electrical draw I found several labels on the lower floor of the trunk that came off various modules. I saved them but haven't bothered to try and glue them back yet.
