Default Leaving top down

Is it OK to leave the top down for months at a time? Or should I put it up at the end of the day when I leave car in the garage?

Thanks.

The only thing I would worry about is moisture and creasing in the fabric. I have always left my top up (on all my convertibles) when not used for long periods.

I've had a couple of converts. I always put the top back up when I'm not driving it just to keep dust and stuff out of the interior. Jack

I could use a cover to keep the dust out but creating permanent creases on the fabric worries me.

Mine stays down most of the summer without a problem. Canvas tops are very durable and don't hold creases. Vinyl tops are another story!!

The top fabric up is normally under tension and I would suspect that it would be best stored under tension.

Owners manual recommends putting it up.
