Default LED interior bulbs

I'd like to put in LED interior bulbs in places like map lights, trunk lights, door lights. Apparently, I should use canbus LED or the computer will have a hissy fit. I've been through the owners manual and can find no listing of bulb part numbers for interior lights. Even the exterior light listing does it by description and not by part number.

Is there is listing somewhere of the application and the part numbers or in the case of festoon bulbs, sizes?

The interior bulbs won't complain about canbus or non LEDs.

I don't know that I have seen a full listing of all the types and sizes for the interior bulbs. I think most of them are listed in various threads on here, but it might take some searching.

good to know. That will save some coin. I'll just buy some typical sizes and try them.

That's what I did in converting an old Volvo to LED's. The LED's are cheap and I probably bought 3 times those I used to get the look I wanted.

I swapped out the original bulbs for LEDs in the trunk, license and parking lights. License & parking are T10 and the trunk is a standard interior size but I can remember the number. The parking lights glow a little while after I turn the car off but that's cool.

The park light will do that if they are no the "canbus" type with a small load resistor. For some reason or other, the control module maintains a slight voltage on those lights until it goes to sleep.

Kind of creepy in a dark garage.

Ive done my interior, the footwells are 501 LEDs, pull the cover off and pull/twist the housing to get it out. The ones in the roof console are also 501 LEDs. Get your fingers in the roof console and pull sharply down, its got 3 metal prongs holding it in place. The one in the rear is a 38mm LED festoon, same as in the boot. At least I think its 38mm! Boot is much brighter now. I've not done the vanity mirrors and the glovebox is a T4W push and twist bulb. Tried LED bulbs in that and none worked! No idea they were all new bulbs!
