Default Trunk release

Can any one tell me if it is possible to bypass or use a jumper to release the trunk lid? There is two wires going to the trunk release switch, 1-purple/green and the other is black/brown. There is no power to either. It seam like there should be power to one of them right, all fuses are good, so it's not a burnt fuse.
Thanks
Dano

danomite,

You will get a better response by posting technical questions in the model forum:

Good luck Dano, and welcome (albeit a little belated) to the forum!
