I have just received a new Seat Hinge Cover for my 1998 XK8. As I want to give it a fighting chance to survive, I am contemplating strengthening the thing by adhering something to the back of it, like perhaps a figure cutout from a piece of aluminum sheet. I need some suggestions as to what kind of adhesive would work the best. I note that on the underside the initials ABS appear which I presume identifies the type of plastic.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
