As stated in another thread, I'm reassembling a 98 XK8 that I took apart years ago. I can't figure out where/how to mount the door control modules. My head is indeed tiny, but not tiny enough to fit through any of the openings in the interior door skin. hard to believe one can actually find a spot to insert that dude and then reach inside to thread and tighten the three tiny nuts that will hold it in place. But I guess it must be possible. Can anyone tell me where and how? Many thanks!

You need to remove loudspeaker and from that opening you can insert module back in. I took this photo when I replaced mine.

Thanks for the advice. I could get mine back in the door, but I couldn't remember specifically where in the door it mounted. I finally got it yesterday. Task accomplished! I appreciate your taking time to respond.

I have problem with my door windows operation (the right one does not work at all, the left one - driver's side, works very chaotically and without any action...
Do you think it can be the door control module? Is it re-programable? If yes what OBD2 computer can do it? I tried with my friend in local garage, his consol cannot do it, it looks like locked from factory...
