Default The not so tough door module install

Hi All,
After calling the door module re install "next to impossible" I now have to eat some humble pie!
With many thanks to White XKR and Filipe PR for their advice I am now an expert in door module changing.
The easiest way I found (and believe me I tired lots of them) if you are having trouble installing it is to remove the connectors at the module once it is out of the vehicle via the speaker opening, they are a different locking device than other connection on the vehicle so take care here.
Once disconnected, offer the door module up to its opening and once the studs are through the holes finger tighten the securing nuts.
Then reach up inside the hole where the speaker should be and feel the orientation of the module connections. It all makes sense after that.
Undo the nuts and drop the module down without rotating it too much and re connect the plugs.
Pull it up through the module opening in the door and then push up the remainder or the way from the speaker opening.
Pop the studs through into their correct location and tighten the nuts and Bingo your done.
I even had a connector come off as I had not secured the locking clip on the blue plug properly. If that had happened last week I would have had fit of rage.
But not this time, I just followed the procedure above and in 2 minutes or less it I had the module un bolted, dropped down, reconnected the plug, re installed and bolted in place ...Easy when you know how!
I am sure there are other ways that may be easier or a little different that this procedure but if you’re in the position I was last weekend and utterly frustrated with the install, this procedure will get you through.
Cheers,
Karl
