Default looking for glue recommendation

weather stripping around one of the headlights started to come off in one of the corners. what would be a good glue to fix this? after a fiasco with my air vents which are back to where I started one month after I epoxied them in place I want to make sure I am using the right stuff this time

thank you

The 3M company has a wonderful line of adhesives available at your local auto paint stores. They are very helpful in helping select the correct product.

Or you can use Gorilla Glue.

We only have RS Strauss in our area and they are no help. I'll look it up on line I guess.

I've used 3M 08001 Yellow Super Weatherstrip and Gasket Adhesive. It comes in a tube and works like contact cement. A little messy, but it works great. I don't know of any auto parts stores that carry it. I bought it at a local Sherwin-Williams - do a search on Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes to see if there's one near you.
