Angry Looking for part

Have been looking for left rear quarter glass finisher for 1999 XK8 convertible. A simple straight trim piece that looks like it may be a pressure fit over metal. New or used but hoping for modest cost.

Angry Looking for part

Looking for new or used (excellent condition) left rear quarter glass finisher for 1998 XK8 convertible. Dealer determined nomenclature for part but did not have schematic. About a foot long, maybe hard rubber. Covers gray metal structure where glass drops below fender line.

Sls, don't recognize it. If you dont get bites, maybe check the Welsh catalog for more info or diagram? Good luck with it.

Sit down before you look at the price but you are looking for the Waist seal - see below parts breakdown from SNG Barratt's catalog.

You can also check the forum market place - I believe member dodge_boy1 is still parting out an XK and may be able to assist

Hi Slsxk8,

Welcome to the Jaguar Forums. It's great to have you with us.

I have merged the thread you began in the X308 forum with this one so all the responses will be together in the correct X100 forum.

A great place to view exploded parts diagrams and part names and numbers is jaguarclassicparts.com which is the parts service of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust.

As RJ mentioned, please visit the New Member Area - Intro a MUST and post an introduction so we can learn something about you and your Jaguar and give you a proper welcome.

Cheers,

Don

Send an email to forum member Jim Schaub at [email protected]. He's parting out several XK8's and may have just what you're looking for. Great guy; fast shipments; fair prices!
