Looking for a replacement side marker bulb housing
Has anyone found a replacement for the side marker connectors that hold the bulbs. My rear passenger sidemarker connector has pretty much disintegrated and I have to replace the whole assembly. Doing an internet search but no luck yet. It's a ford connector, gray bulb housing with o-ring and the main black connector it plugs into. If I can find one I can just splice it in.
If I recall I may be able to steal the connector from the side badges that are there but aren't used. Has anyone else run across this?
Any help would be great.

Found the junior timer connector, I think you guys will like this.
Mouser electronics sells a Tyco Electronics Connector, formerly Amp Inc, junior timer for $1.75 each, part #282189-1. Looks like the puppy so I guess I order one up and see what I get.
I stopped by ford with the bulb base and I was told they don't carry that type of item. I would have to get it from jaguar.

Could something like this be made to work?
97 Ford Explorer Front Parking Light Socket | eBay
That looks like a very similar socket, but with a different style connector, which it comes with. I can't tell if that's the same bulb type from the picture.
I swear I found the correct part for my car on ebay from a 2000 F250 or F350, but as I said, I ended up getting the whole assembly from Jaguar cheaper.
Maybe hit up a few local junkyards and check out front cornering lamps on some Fords?

XKRacer gave the right part up above for the socket and connector, but the socket seems to only be available in the UK. Saw one on EBAY for about 5 pounds. Seems they are very prevolent overseas but not here.
I'm ordering the assembly from jaguar and will get the connector from Mouser. Unfortunately the assembly is more like $21.00 now. At least the connector is still cheap.

Not sure if this will work but...... Here in the UK the side markers are not required, but the wiring is still there with the plug which I have connected up for some customers many times, here's the thing..... You guys dont need the side repeaters, you (I beleive) have a leaper style badge covering it, now assuming Jaguar did the same in the US as they did in the UK you may find the plug sitting inside the fender, it is the same item, you could cut it off and use that one.
Might be worth a look

Yeah I found that connector behind the leaper one day, but unfortunately the connector doesn't have the bulb holder that plugs into the bosh junior. The only way for us to get the bulb holder is to buy the assembly.
I found the junior timer cheap enough so I'd rather just buy that then clip the existing.

All Fixed
Got the parts from Mouser today and did the install. I've attached some pics. The parts work so if you need to do the same, here it is.
Got the side marker assembly from jaguar for $21.00 so I could have the bulb holder. Readily available in the European market but not here.
Connector was purchased from Mouser Electronics.
Junior Timer Connector: 571-282189-1, $1.75 ea.
Little Blue Booty: 571-828922-1, $0.10 ea. 2 req'd
Automotive Terminal: 571-925596-2, $0.24 ea., 2 req'd
Side markers pop out easy enough as there are only 2 retainer clips.
Used pliers to remove metal clip retaining bulb holder.
Used pliers to pull wires out of old connector.
Re-stripped wire ends, add boots then terminals.
Crimped terminals and soldered to make sure of a good connection.
Inserted new terminals into junior timer connector and reasembled.
And then there was much rejoicing, yeah.

.. and I drop or damage stuff...
Likewise, from a dealer with online/eBay presence, I ordered a whole new lense, body, bulb-holder.
Eight-years-on since new, the plastic had gotten brittle, chipped at the thin edges getting it out.
BTW - Whilst awaiting parts arrival, any suitable size and colour of El Cheapo marker light assembly from the auto-parts rack can be spliced onto the leads and duct-taped to serve temporarily.
Could save one a fine. Or even a collision, Sod's Law as it is...
UPDATE: 'Junior Timer' connector body with above part number from Mouser arrived with but a single-rib cavity, whilst socket on the genuine Jaguar complete housing assembly (from Hampton) had two ribs. Mouser P/N above for the 'Little Blue Booty' arrived as clear in colour, and unpierced for passage of wire. Contacts P/N specified were OK.
Razor-knifed the non-essential ribs clear off the jaguar socket right-angle tail, re-used the old orange 'booties' cut out of the corroded connector body and some dielectric 'bulb grease' to complete the fix.

I had my rear bumper replaced with the arden style and just realized he zip tied the rear reflectors in there. When I take my wheels off, I may just remove the connector and socket. I need one for my passenger side marker anyway. Then I'll have an extra. May part with it.
In a similar note, I replaced my chrome boot trim with the older painted trim but the plate bulb sockets won't stay in the plinth! Would those sockets be different! The clips look the same on the plinths.

Hey guys,
I see that this post has a pretty new entry, so I figured maybe I shouldn't create a new post.
I'm looking for the part that is on the attached image. I really don't know the name of it, but it's the "holder" for the front (passenger) marker light bulb. I've tested and the bulb works just fine, so it should be just the "holder".
Sorry if I'm not being precise, but English is not my mail language, so I wouldn't know how to start looking.
BTW, I live in the US, which might be a drawback.
Thanks in advance!
