Default loss of power, engine fail safe

Second time since Friday - loss of power, ASC/DSC fault, Engine Failsafe mode and stuck at 25MPH. Pulled codes Friday - 1111, 1229, with my steady 171, 174 (waiting on vvt seals and a few others to fix those).

Saturday - I replaced battery with new AGM, did hard reset and cleared codes - drove fine Sat/Sun and this morning going into work.

This afternoon - again lost power ASC/DSC/Engine failsafe and limited to 25-30mph. Pulled over, shut her down and waited a few minutes, cleared codes and she started back up drove fine long enough to get me to the house and parked in the garage -

Guess it's time to get throttle body repaired/replaced

You know you can just get the TPS these days? A cheaper potential fix than replacing the whole throttle body.

Clean the pllug connection with contact cleaner, hose it down. This may resolve the issue for a year, does for mine

Thanks LaRue - did that last night along with replace the VVT seals (for my 171/174 issue) drove a short bit (~mile round trip) with no issues but will take her out this afternoon after work for a longer drive.
