Default MAFS Connector needed?

1999 XK8, I have had a problem with my MAFS connector for awhile, I first thought it was the sensor itself (since replaced anyway) but I would get the restricted performance light and left and right banks running lean. Then it would go away, I later found out that when the light came on I would pull over, pop the hood and touch the one wire of five I'd narrowed it down too and a by the time I got back in the car the restricted performance light would be off and I was good to go. ALSO with the car running smoothly I can push in one of the wires on the connector a bit and get the car to immediately stall. I have cleaned ail the connections with MAFS cleaner and have since replaced the MAFS. So I'm thinking of trying to buy the end of another connector and just splicing the wires in. I'm in Houston, anyone know where I might find one????

Thanks

Call Ken at MotorcarsLtd there in Houston, he's got access to salvage parts and is a member of this forum. Tell him you're from jagforums and he'll take care of you. MAFS sensor may be cross compatible with XJs and S-types, so good chance he can find you one.

Forgot I had this out, and wanted to close it. My Mechanic Neil, suggested taking a toothpick and giving the wires on the MAFS a good push' in. I did that right before I was going to cut the wires and solder them to the MAF sensor directly.......I have not had this problem or the hesitation on acceleration since, It's been a few months now and all ok.
