I was wondering where would i find a good manual trany to stick in my 99xk?

Iwould consult with the vendor, but I do not believe they offer a manual transmission conversion for XK. XJS is quite a different animal.

Past posts on this subject give me the understanding that the only suitable source for such a conversion involves the use of an Aston Martin manual transmission and the additional components required. You might search Paramount Performance, as I believe they have engineered the swap and the requisite modifications to the engine/ transmission management programs.

Short answer: anything can be done for a bajillion. As my experience is predominantly with customers who are thousandaires, I have no background with such a conversion and have not researched the topic. Perhaps others with additional resources will better guide you.

Yea ive heard of using aston martin transmissions before, thats like my last choice lol.
