Missing side repeater wiring!
Hi Guys,
I'm a newbie so please be gentle!
I have a US spec 2002 XK8 that I want to add side repeaters to in lieu of the enamel emblems. I started on the drivers side and just removed the old emblem, hooked out the wiring connector and all was well. I then went to the passenger side pulled the emblem and couldn't see any wiring! I partially pulled out the wheel well liner and peered inside...nothing.
I have read that the US spec X308 only has the wiring on one side (drivers), is the X100 the same or am I missing something?
Any help greatly appreciated!!

Yup! There is no wire on the passenger side. You'll have to wire to the turn signal from the headlight. I used to know the correct color wires to use from the loom but I can't remember!! I'm sure someone will step up and let you know.
Never understood why they didn't wire both or even simply ship US cars with the signal!!
By the way, I have a set of clear markers if your looking for some. I went with new red leaper badges to match my wheel centers and calipers.

Thanks for the replies, I can now stop searching. It does seem bizarre they only left in the drivers side harness.
Thanks for the offer of the clear repeater lenses, but I just bought a set!!
Next question, on a related topic. I believe that side markers are illegal in the UK, can any of our British friends confirm that? I'm moving to the UK, from Germany, for a year and need to put the car though an MoT and lighting seems the only major snag.
