Default Missing Temp sensor hole in AJ26 Oil Sump Engine Top.

Dear jag lovers,
Due to car accident I had to replace broken Oil Sump Engine Top. I have used the one from AJ26 engine. The problem is that there is no space for fitting oil temperature sensor.
With out this sensor engine takes more fiuel as ECM thinks the engine is cold and probably VVTi are not working properly.
Any idea where, how can I put this sensor?

Fishman.

Oil Sump Engine Top - It`s a huge part of the engine... A lot of work.

Maybe use an adapter so you can run the pressure and temp off the same hole? This is an odd one, not sure there is a GOOD way to do what you want to do so you will have to get clever.

Good Idea!!!!

Try a 'TEE' to fit both into the system.
The temp one should be the closest to the engine I guess.
