Double check your plug connection on the shocks. You could maybe unplug them then clear the fault and try the car again with them disconnected, If the same fault and only that fault logs it may be confirming a connection/wiring problem.

Thanks, will do. But one question, if I disconnected, I'm sure to have the DSC error at least. Did you mean to disconnect also the unit control in the back of the trunk (computer for the adaptive dampers)?

Thanks

Leave computer plugged in. If you get an additional fault after unplugging shocks you need to locate the cause of your first fault,( plugging shocks back in will solve the new fault). If only the first fault logs again it will confirm it is related to a shock plug or wire problem.
The DSC fault may also trigger the generic code. ie one problem can trigger more than one code.
On the previous question regarding shock rebuild l enquired of bilstein and was told the adaptives are not rebuildable.

Arff. Better hope they're still good then..
What about the ride height, is one inch higher ok for the front, within tolerance?
Thank you for the tips, I'll try.

Default Progress

Today, the suspension fault disappeared before I even try to disconnect the wires. So I start driving thinking everything is working now then the dreaded "DSC system fault" showed up. Grrrr...I had that problem before when it would show randomly, but this time it showed street 5 min out driving. I tried to stop and restart (that usually works) but nope fault still there. I was hoping that changing the shocks would help there but...I guess I'm back to square one. Except now the ride isn't scary as it used to be! Yayyyy.
For the DSC, I understand there are multiple possibilities, cable continuity, abs Soldering, cleaning speed sensors, ecu in the trunk etc. That's a bit much for my limited skills but I'll try. I have a volt meter and one if these pens light for continuity, but not sure I should use these on electronic. The ecu has pins that need to be tested I think.
I cleaned the sensors many times before and the abs sprocket too but that didn't do anything.
Something to live with or to try there and there. I can't understand one thing about the abs Soldering. I can't find it in the engine bay to begin with lol..
My car is a 2004 so maybe it's different.
So hopefully it will be some wires or something simple.

Thanks for the help, again really made a difference. Sometimes I wonder where is everybody though. There's very little activity lately. For me the car has been a nice way to forget for a few hours that it is out there.
Love everybody.
