Looks like she's back in all her former glory!

I cringed at the photos. Takes a truly ill individual to do something like that.

Nice repair! I've got a nasty scratch on the drivers door (picked up in a carpark) that I haven't got round to doing anything about. Hopefully when I do get it fixed it will be as invisible as your repair.

Fantastic job. I bet you're well happy. I'm always amazed by what a (good) body shop is capable of. I really don't know how they manage to get such perfect colour matches and blend the paint in so nicely.

While I can't comment more on the criminal case yet, the latest development is that she is planning on suing the company for driving her crazy. This just keeps getting better and better. I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.

Very typical, that way she can try for an out of court settlement because she has NO CASE!

This is just representative of thinking that perhaps started back in the 1990s or maybe earlier. There is no such thing as personal responsibility. There is always "someone else" to blame and, moreover, that "someone else" needs to be sued--especially if they have deep pockets.

I say she be given a prison sentence. Not so much for keying the car, but for having the audacity to turn round and say it's all the company's fault, thereby making the entitre judicial system look ridiculous.

Her lawyer could be let off with a light flogging for putting the idea into her head in the first place. Then debarred...

Another week has passed and I spoke to the county attorney again and he has done…absolutely nothing, as far as I can tell. Swift Justice is an oxymoron. The initial hearing isn't even set yet.

Glad you're getting it sorted out !
Awful disheartening stuff.

Karma will kick her a$$ somehow anyway no matter how long she ekes out court cases etc

Keith
The wheels of justice move at a snails pace. It'll be months before you probably hear anything about it. If it's her 1st offense They will probably make her pay restitution and a fine. The states attorney will try to cop a plea bargain with her. Sometimes it's basically a slap on the hand.

Hang in there, I know it's hard but the other side of revenge, only gets and makes things worse.

Feel your pain, came out the pool hall the other night to find my XKR door damaged by someone booting it.

Some good news that cops caught the guy and his training shes matched the footprint in the dent.

Downside is I am going to be out of pocket as I don't believe I can recover any money to cover the damage, I will need to pay the excess for insurance and claim gets registered as my fault!!!!

Just a couple of weeks ago I was parked in city centre late at night and came back to find a McDonalds milkshake thrown over drivers side...

Why do people resent the Jag so much?

I don't think this is all about Jaguars assuming that was a tight place and the driver didn't manoeuvre carefully but I trust you can fix it

At long last, justice is served! This morning the women plead guilty. Now I just have to wait for my restitution check

As a bonus, here is the incriminating surveillance footage (too bad the copy I received isn't very clear)
Surveillance Footage - 6-28-2011 - YouTube

It certainly has been an interesting case and I wish I could go into specifics, but what I can tell you is the women had a traumatic past experience that was triggered and I apparently look like someone related to her past. She claims no memory of the vandalism. There are certain things she alleges that are skeptical at best, but it seems like the only thing that ties me in are my looks.

I'm just glad this is finally over.
