Excellent. I love the way they give you the video footage and allow you to publish it on the Internet in the US to shame the culprit. They'd never allow that here in France, the idiots.

 

You may have to consider plastic surgery, so the next time she see you she doesn't go off the deep end again. It makes me sick to see someone do that to a Jaguar for no reason.

It is slightly dubious the way I have to deal with the footage. I can say who plead guilty to the vandalism, and I have the footage, but it is probably best if I don't describe what goes on in the footage and simply say that here is some surveillance footage that coincides with the date my car was vandalized. I don't know how happy they would be I posted it, so I'm being a bit careful with it, but it's not illegal for me to post. It wouldn't be that hard to find, but I'm not publicly flaunting it everywhere (except with you guys )

To say that this has been a strange case is an understatement. The good thing for her is she is finally getting the mental help she should have received years ago.

Back in '85 (at the "Wildflower" apartments in Dallas) someone keyed my (really clean) Fiat X1/9 with the antenna which THEY broke off! Not too many years later, I came out of a Knox St. eatery one evening only to find a horrid "loogy" (which crazed the paint like brake fluid would) on my '86 SAAB SPG. Here's what we need: an in-car camera which can detect a foot-mobil and film them, and send an alert to your phone when it senses contact with the vehicle, and stream the video to you.

 

Keith, She must have keyed your car because you were so good looking and she could not have you!

 

Did the company terminate her employment? I'd hate to think she'd still be working there when she goes into another one of her spells over you! Could make your workplace unsafe!

 

She was terminated within 2 days of the incident.

 

OMG thats a bit harsh, the death penalty for keying some ones car without trial..... with a trial its fine of course!

That's sucks. This past Saturday after spending the morning washing and shining my jag I stopped at a busy gas station to fill her up. I got a thumbs up from one guy and a "nice car" from another. As I walked back to my car I noticed a young woman walking up to my car with her keys poised to scrap my car. She saw me before she got to it and changed her path. As I passed her she muttered expletives under her breath. I waited to see her leave and it was out of her way to walk past my car. She got into a 20 year old rust bucket of an SUV with 3 screaming kids in the back. I don't think we have to wish her an eternity in hell, she is already there.
