Default My Mina Exhaust was delivered today!!!

I'm so excited...my exhaust system came today from Mina. I ordered the Nameless Cats a few weeks ago and should have them by the end of next week. I ordered and received the stainless "center" muffler from XKs Store and now have these beautiful things. As soon as I get the underside finished and the rear suspension installed (needs alot of work first) I can Install them.

Just needed to release some energy...thx for reading!

Default Welds...

Congrats on your purchase! I have the Mina rear muffler delete system. Be aware that the welds on their system broke on both sides a few times, requiring that they be re-welded. When that wasn't good enough, I had to have brand new custom mounts made to hold the piping. Now, I have no problems. I love the sound and appearance of the system. I strongly recommend having custom, stronger mounts made and used from the very beginning.

You're going to have to start driving that car upside down by the time you finish. It will be a toss up as to which side looks better! : )

Thanks Jeff...Is it the mounts that secure it to the differential?

Default Mounts

I only have the Mina rear muffler deletes. The rearward most mounts are the ones that constantly broke.

Interesting....with less weight on them to boot. When I removed the rear suspension, it was one of the mounts on top of the differential that was broken. I 'll be sure to check them over and have some new ones made if they look tender. Thanks for the heads-up!

Oh wait, I just read your 1st post again....It was the welds on their system, Gotcha

Make certain you have the right set. From what I understand there are four variants. I dropped mine off at the muffler shop before checking, so they had a lot of cutting and rewelding to do to get them to fit properly...

Mina had sent me a set for a coupe.

Thanks XENO....will do. I'll be doing the install myself so there will be NO cutting or welding LOL. Did they make a mess of things? Discolor the pipes with the extreme heat or anything major???
