Did you correct the valve chain tensioners?

Default Tensioners

Yes, tensioners were top of my list when looking at older Jaguars. The original owner loved this car...did tensioners, and then some. Now working on maintenance “catch up”... with the help and advice of forum members. Still haven’t “ unclenched”..lol

Very good! I am a bit envious of you, and have been looking at the XK8s of the period. I see them as the true successors of the E-type, but of superior quality.

Default Tensioners

I know what you mean, saw and fell in lust with a 1967 XKE after seeing a beautiful baby blue convertible in Seventeen Magazine, 54 years ago. Never thought this red beauty(love red cars) would be mine. We all looked great at 24!
