Valet parking must have had fun in our xk8. The sport switch was on and the toggle switch cover was gone

I had to buy a complete switch just to get the cover plate, luckily I found one in the classified section. I lost the cover plate for the cruise control 'RESUME' button for several months, and found it underneath the drivers side seat in the track, had I adjusted the seat it would have been crushed. It was an impressive distance back in the seat track as well, and was almost perfectly camouflaged by the black seat track and carpet. The Sport Mode button cap is very thin, and would easily slide into, or next to the track, or a fold in the carpet, and be nearly invisible without a bright flashlight.

 

No, they just played with the sport switch. It's the nav toggle switch cover that I need.

 

I have a full nav assembly with the knob.
