Navigation System Update DVD
send me a personal email to <deleted email> and I'll mail you one of my early copies, can't test it here anymore, but if it works, you can send me whatever you feel it is worth.

I'd also really appreciate giving the new disc image a try. I just got a 2000 XKR today and while the Leaper is a nice logo, a clock would be handy to have. If you upgrade to the later disc can you go back to the old warmup screen (the Leaper) if you put the old disc back in?
That picture of the clock did make me chuckle quite a bit. My parents have a 98 XJR and I love the analog clock in it, that bland clock screen just isn't very fitting for a Jag, but any clock would be better than nothing since I'll probably never have the Nav system on anyway.

I have a 2006 XKR and there is no update available for the Alpine Nav. System. I do use it from time to time to demonstrate how fast and how much Southern Delaware has grown in just a few years. On the other hand, the clock works!

Will do, I'd love to give this a shot and see if my town actually exists according to Jaguar, lol.
So I hear a lot of people saying you need a dual layer DVD to make a disc yourself, but does this only apply to the discs that are larger than the 4.7 Gb single layer limit? The 2003 disc for America is only 3.9 Gb or so, so it doesn't need a dual layer disc to fit it all, but is that all the car unit wants to read?
