Need help
My 1997 xk8 transmission is slipping up to 30 miles an hour . Can anyone lead me in the right direction on what I direction to take on solving the problem. Is it the transmision or the module or something else . Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Kevin
Kevin,
I've moved your question from General Tech Help to XK8/XKR forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.
Now that you decided not to take the advice given when you posted this same question BEFORE buying the vehicle .........

......... you're definitely going to need help and advice from knowledgeable members with the same model.

First thing to check is fluid level and/or have the fluid changed. Beyond that is the valve body and internals.
While it could be an electrical/TCM issue affecting the valve operation get the ATF question out of the way first.
