I need to fine a driver's side seat belt for a 1997 XK8 .Tan would be nice for now. This is my daughter's car and I would put any color in it, so she can drive it. She 16 and I will not let her drive it with out it.
This is the 2nd one that went bad. Working great one day and the next day it was so tight you could play the banjo with it. The belt gets so tight you can cut your hand. I would like to keep the price reasonable. And does anyone know if a XJ would work or anyother car? It has no wires hooked up just mechancal mecanism.

16 and driving an XK8. Maybe put a full racing harness in there.

 

That bottom picture says "R" on it ... are you sure you didn't install a RHS belt on the LHS? That might have something to do with the belt locking up.

 

Yes, I pulled it off the driver side of a xk8 parts car I have. It's the same year. I thought that it would be L for left side . But it has a R on it. The real question is the driverside on an English car is it the right side or left side. I don't remember the first one that I removed.

Well I found the L for left it's on the first picture. There you will see the L on the botton left. Why is the shipping from the UK so high. I can ship there for so much less then they can ship to the US.
