I am looking for the part number and description for the access cover behind the left headlight on a 97 XK8 convertible.

If your cover is missing as mine was, you will also need the Arrow Head Clip KTF100003. I purchased mine from SNG Barratt.

I emailed jagbit. That number is for the cover in the wheel liner. I am looking for the one that is between the hadlight and the wheel liner. I not know how I am missing the left one. I don't think it could fall out. The one on the right is hard to get off and on.

The six sided hex shape cover on the rear of the lamp is JLM20281. The left and right are the same.

No that's not it either. The panel is black plastic and rectangle, it has a notch in the center bottom for the wire loom to pass through, and it mount to the body of the car.

So after the fender liner before you gain access to the dip (low) beam bulb you have to remove this cover.
